Who we are
Rikny (rikny.com) is run by Mehdi Turan, an independent developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Mehdi Turan is the data controller for the processing described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
This policy covers the rikny.com website. Our apps have their own policies — for example the Hajji Journey privacy policy.
What we collect
Contact form. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, the product you ask about, your message, an optional licence key and any screenshots you attach. The form is delivered to our inbox by our email provider (Resend). For spam protection, the message also includes the IP address and country of the sender.
Technical data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without building profiles of visitors.
Preferences. Your theme (light or dark) and language choice are saved in your own browser (local storage). They are never sent to us.
We do not use advertising, tracking cookies or social-media pixels.
How we use it and why
We use contact-form data only to answer you, to provide support for the product you ask about and, if you report a bug, to fix it. The legal basis is your request (taking steps at your request) and our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5).
Technical data is used to run and secure the website (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We only use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, security and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Resend — delivering contact-form emails.
- Lemon Squeezy — if you buy a WordPress Pro licence, it acts as merchant of record and processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
These providers may process data outside Türkiye or the EU; they use standard safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep support emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can follow up on the same issue. You can ask us to delete them earlier.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), or the data protection authority of your country in the EU.
Children
The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data through the contact form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
