Agreement
These terms apply to the Hajji Journey mobile app (“the app”), published by Mehdi Turan (“we”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
An educational tool, not a fatwa
The app teaches the rites of Hajj and Umrah through play, following five schools of Islamic jurisprudence. Its rulings are compiled from the recognised sources of each school and are being reviewed by scholars, but it is not a fatwa and does not replace personal religious guidance.
Practices differ between scholars and change with personal circumstances. Before and during your own pilgrimage, please follow a scholar or official religious body you trust. We are not responsible for acts of worship performed solely on the basis of the app.

Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its artwork, except where the law expressly allows it.
Teachers and mosques may show the app in lessons. For other uses, please ask us first.
Purchases
Some content (the Full Hajj pack) is offered as a one-time in-app purchase. Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Payments, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; we cannot process refunds ourselves.
You can restore your purchases on a new device with “Restore purchases” in the store screen of the app. Optional “Support the developer” purchases are a thank-you only: they unlock no content and are not a donation or charity (sadaqah).
Intellectual property
The app's code, artwork, characters and texts are © Mehdi Turan. Quranic verses and hadith are quoted from their public sources with references. Fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License; the game engine is Godot (MIT licence).
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and bug-free, but we cannot guarantee that it is error-free or always available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
